Free agent center Precious Achiuwa has agreed to a contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. Entering his sixth NBA season, Achiuwa will join the Kings after being waived by the Miami Heat prior to the 2025–26 season.
Selected 20th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat, Achiuwa has played in 320 regular-season games across Miami, Toronto Raptors, and New York Knicks. The Kings are expected to waive second-year center Isaac Jones to clear a roster spot for Achiuwa. Jones, aged 25, has spent two seasons with Sacramento, averaging 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds in 5.7 minutes per game.
