Setting and Plot Tease
The story unfolds in the fall of 1987. Hawkins grapples with the aftermath of the Rifts opening, and the group comes together with one mission: to find and eliminate Vecna. However, Vecna has disappeared, leaving his plans and location uncertain.
The government has placed Hawkins under military quarantine and increased its pursuit of Eleven, forcing her to go into hiding once more. Meanwhile, the anniversary of Will’s disappearance brings a looming sense of dread.
