STV will broadcast a special live programme on Friday from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, showcasing the charity work of the STV Children’s Appeal throughout 2025. The show will focus on three projects supported this year.
TV legend Lorraine Kelly, a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its founding, will host the programme. She will meet people who have either contributed to or benefited from the Appeal’s work over the past year.
Before the show, Lorraine Kelly was seen wearing a kilt and scarf made with a custom tartan created by Paisley-based Houston Kiltmakers. The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan incorporates the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue colours and was designed earlier this year to raise funds.
“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
The live programme will highlight the impact of local fundraising efforts and the meaningful difference made by the STV Children’s Appeal in 2025.
