Fuel Supply Contracts for Sizewell C
Sizewell C has signed significant contracts to secure its fuel supply. A six-year uranium enrichment services supply contract was agreed upon with Urenco, and a long-term fuel fabrication contract was signed with Framatome for the planned Sizewell C nuclear power plant in the UK.
The contract with Urenco will provide enriched uranium services for the first six years of operation, ensuring a secure front-end fuel supply for the two-unit plant. These enrichment services will be provided at Urenco's site in Capenhurst, near Chester in north-west England.
"The importance of Sizewell C in the UK's energy future cannot be underestimated, and Urenco is proud to have been selected as a supplier of choice," said Urenco CEO Boris Schucht.
