Musical Style of "Showbiz"
The song features crisp drums, a vocoder-enhanced chorus, and shimmering synths, marking a romantic indie pop style. The production, handled by Williams alongside collaborator Daniel James, echoes the smooth, syncopated grooves similar to the band Phoenix.
Williams sampled Phoenix’s 2017 track “Fior di Latte” on her recent song “Love Me Different.”
