Ariarne Titmus Shares Life Update After Retirement
Australian Olympic swimming champion Ariarne Titmus has opened up about a significant change in her personal life following her retirement at 25. The athlete revealed that she has recently relocated to Melbourne to start a new chapter with her partner, investment analyst Mac Powell.
"It's just happened this week, new beginnings, a fresh start, a new chapter," Titmus said. "Mac and I are living together. It was hard to leave Queensland, but I do have family in Melbourne and a lot of friends here who have moved from Tasmania."
Titmus expressed contentment with her choice to step away from elite competition, embracing a more balanced lifestyle filled with simple pleasures such as home-cooked meals and evenings with loved ones.
"It took me a while to make the decision... and I've definitely made the right one," she told News Corp.
Having achieved remarkable success in the pool, Titmus is now focused on enjoying life beyond early training sessions and the intense demands of her sport.
