Violence Erupts in Lahore During Anti-Israel Protest
A protest by the far-Right Islamist party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) against Israel turned violent, resulting in the deaths of at least one police officer and three protesters.
The clashes occurred on one of Pakistan's busiest highways during the TLP's march from Lahore to Islamabad, approximately 400 km away, along the Grand Trunk Road.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif described the TLP protest as an "insult to religion"
