Jetstar Expands Services from Melbourne Avalon Airport

On Monday, 10 November 2025, Jetstar announced its largest expansion from Melbourne Avalon Airport by introducing new international flights to Bali, resuming flights to Adelaide, and increasing services to Brisbane. This expansion will add over 330,000 low-fare seats annually, enhancing travel options for local customers and boosting tourism to support Victoria’s economy.

New International Route to Bali

Jetstar's Bali service marks a milestone as its first international route from Melbourne Avalon Airport, the airline’s largest base there. Starting 23 March 2026, Jetstar will operate five return flights per week between Melbourne Avalon and Bali (Denpasar) using Airbus A321LR aircraft, adding more than 120,000 seats annually.
