Jetstar Launches Direct Flights from Sunshine Coast to Bali via Singapore
Jetstar (JQ) will start direct flights connecting Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) with Bali's Denpasar Airport (DPS) from 25 March 2026. The service offers fares beginning at $199 and includes seamless onward connections to Singapore (SIN) through Denpasar.

- Flights operate three times weekly on Airbus A321LR aircraft
- Flight duration is roughly six hours each way
- Approximately 70,000 seats available annually
Benefits for Travellers
This new route eliminates the need for Sunshine Coast residents to travel to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights to Bali, providing easier and more affordable access to Bali’s beaches and cultural sites without layovers.
Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully said the launch is a milestone for both the airline and the region, describing it as “an easy international getaway” that fits Jetstar’s strategy to expand its network and meet increasing demand for budget travel.

With this launch, Jetstar adds its tenth Australian route to Bali, strengthening its position as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland and improving travel convenience for the area’s residents.
