Warning of Impending "Day Zero Droughts"
Scientists warn that three-quarters of the world's drought-prone areas are at risk of extreme water shortages, known as "day zero droughts", this century.
Some of these areas could be hit before 2030, with cities in the U.S., the Mediterranean, and southern Africa being under threat.
