A new book from Thames & Hudson offers the first complete overview of Vivienne Westwood’s vast jewellery collection. Known for viral penis pendants, ever-present orb earrings, and the iconic pearl choker, Westwood's jewellery is as celebrated as her fashion designs.
Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery spans 55 years of the designer’s work in jewellery. Authored by AnOther fashion features director Alexander Fury and produced in collaboration with the house, it is the first book devoted solely to this subject.
“This lavish encyclopaedia of Vivienne Westwood jewellery evokes the blend of luxury and rebellion that is the house’s signature style,” said the house in a statement.
The pieces covered include the skilfully crafted safety-pin brooch, hand-strung ‘broken’ pearl necklaces, and the iconic crystal Westwood orb—each defining the brand’s unique codes.
Vivienne Westwood’s jewellery archive, showcased in this definitive book, captures her signature fusion of opulence and punk rebellion over five decades.
