Anglesey campsite plan 'will help firm move away from fossil fuel sales'

Anglesey Campsite Plan Supports Shift from Fossil Fuel Sales

A proposal has been submitted for the creation of a 20-pitch seasonal touring caravan site as part of a business diversification effort to reduce reliance on fossil fuel sales.

Planning Application Details

Anglesey County Council will review an application to change the use of agricultural land at Bryn Hyfryd Farm in Valley. The proposal includes:

"The proposed development comprises the provision of a small seasonal touring site on open farmland adjoining Bryn Hyfryd coal depot and yard at Valley, near Holyhead."

Location and Access

The site is located west of Valley, within a larger field that is part of land surrounding the Looms Bros Coal yard, covering approximately 800m². Access would be created from an existing unclassified road that links Valley village with the A55, providing a new vehicular entrance from the minor lane connecting Valley and Llanfair-yn-Neubwll.
