At her contract signing with All Access to Artists (AAA) on November 13, actress Pauline Mendoza reflected on her first decade in show business and why finding genuinely trustworthy people has been one of her biggest challenges so far.
“My biggest struggle is that it’s actually hard to find real people in showbiz,” she admitted when asked what she has learned in her ten years in the industry. “It’s not that I don’t have friends, but it’s really hard to know who’s genuine and who’s just there because it’s showbiz.”
She noted she’s fortunate to have a small circle she can rely on, adding:
“I’m grateful for the people who stayed. They make every part of my life lighter. They know what’s happening to me, and they’re the ones who make everything feel easier.”
Mendoza said her career never truly slowed down, but there was a moment when she questioned whether she still wanted to push forward. That doubt, however, did not last long.
“I still want this, I know I can still do it. I know I still have more to offer,”she stated.
“I keep telling myself I want this, I can do this—and I’m really eager to work again.”
The AAA contract signing, marking her first move to a new management team, happened at a time when she felt ready for a reset. She acknowledged nerves about the big transition but said the move ultimately felt right.
