Rheinmetall supplies HERO loitering ammunition to the German Armed Forces
Rheinmetall Defence Electronics has received a contract from the German Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) to supply the German Armed Forces with HERO (HEdgeR Observation) loitering ammunition systems.
The HERO system is a reconnaissance and precision strike weapon system that can be employed in a variety of roles, including reconnaissance, surveillance, and fire support.
