Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Processors
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be powered by both Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets.
Unlike the Galaxy S25 series, which was powered solely by Snapdragon processors due to production issues with the Exynos 2500 chipset, the Galaxy S26 lineup will feature a mix of both.
- The Samsung S26 Pro and S26 Plus will use the Exynos 2600 chipset.
- The S26 Edge and S26 Ultra will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
According to reports, the Snapdragon chipset may be used in all models sold in Samsung's largest markets, including the US and China.
Each time there is a new Samsung Galaxy release, there is always the question of what processor it will feature—Exynos or Qualcomm?
This is not the first time Samsung has used different processors for different models and markets.
