P&O Cruises' Iona has entered drydock at a shipyard in Rotterdam for routine maintenance and a technical overhaul.
The 183,900-ton ship, part of Carnival Corporation's Excel-class series, can accommodate 5,200 guests.
After the maintenance, Iona is set to resume service on October 23, 2025, with a winter season featuring itineraries to Northern Europe and the Canary Islands.
The first sailing after the refit will be a two-night cruise to nowhere, followed by a seven-night cruise to Spain and France.
The LNG-powered ship is expected to undergo technical maintenance before welcoming guests back.
