The LSU Tigers secured an SEC victory, defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks 20-10 on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
Ranked 11th in the nation, LSU improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC, while unranked South Carolina dropped to 3-3 and 1-3.
"We won the game," said LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly. "Winning games is a good thing."
The Tigers overcame issues with their goalline offense, being held out of the end zone four times inside the 10. Despite this, Coach Kelly found some positives:
"But what I loved was our compete," Kelly said. "I loved the way our guys competed for four quarters."
