Spain Defeats Bulgaria 4-0
Arsenal midfielders Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi led Spain to a 4-0 win over Bulgaria in Valladolid.
Merino scored two goals, with the first coming in the first period and the second from an Alejandro Grimaldo cross in the second half.
- Atanas Chernev's own goal supplied the third goal 13 minutes from time.
- Mikel Oyarzabal added a fourth goal from the penalty spot.
Zubimendi played an excellent 63 minutes before being replaced by Aleix Gracia.
Merino has now scored six goals in his last four games for Spain.
