No. 3 Field Hockey Secures Win
No. 3 Virginia field hockey needed a win to return to form after a loss to No. 2 North Carolina last week.
“Coming off of a loss we really wanted to capitalize on today,” Nemec said.
The team played against No. 7 Liberty at home, which was expected to be a defensive game. The Flames ranked second in shutouts per game, while the Cavaliers ranked third in save percentage.
