Stanford wants LaGrange to live up to its potential
Local business owner Terry Stanford is challenging Councilwoman Darby Pippin for her District 1B seat in LaGrange. Stanford is the owner of Stanford Automotive, a transportation company in LaGrange that specializes in automotive repair.
Stanford said he is running to make LaGrange safer and better.
We’ve got to really focus on our economic development and community safety with all the crime and everything we have, Stanford said.
I just believe that this community has got a lot more potential.
Stopping the violent crime that has been plaguing the city of LaGrange in recent years is the most pressing issue, but the city also has a growing affordable housing problem and a need for sidewalks, he said.
