Border Patrol's Video Sparks Controversy

A video posted by U.S. Border Patrol on Facebook and Instagram two months ago has raised eyebrows due to its soundtrack.

The video, which showed agents on a mission, was set to a version of Michael Jackson's 1995 song "They Don't Care About Us" that contains antisemitic lyrics.

The lyrics in question are: "Jew me, sue me, everybody do me, kick me, kike me, don’t you black or white me."

The video was deleted on Wednesday after a journalist, Matt Novak, posted about it on Bluesky.

The reason behind the use of this particular song remains unclear, as Border Patrol has not provided an explanation.
