Las Vegas traffic deaths have reached 127 in 2025, surpassing the goal of less than 125 deaths this year.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, 127 people have been killed in traffic-related crashes as of October 12, up from 123 at the same time last year.
A recent deadly crash occurred on Sunday at the Ann Road and El Capitan Way intersection, involving a car and a motorcycle traveling at a high speed.
Police said a car was crossing from a posted stop sign heading north on El Capitan through the intersection with Ann Road when a motorcycle came into the same intersection and hit the back of the car.
Metro Police do not suspect impairment by the driver of the car.
