Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend's 5-Month-Old Baby

A $2 million bond has been set for Glenn McIntosh, a Madison Township man charged with murder after a 5-month-old infant in his care died from injuries.

According to authorities, medics were called to the 4000 block of Willard Brook Road after reports of an infant having trouble breathing. The baby, Ameira Reynolds, was found to be limp and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

"Upon further observation, the baby was limp," a prosecutor said in court. "[The mother] took the baby to the hospital, was frantically texting the defendant, trying to figure out what happened to her child. He was not responding."

During the medical examination, doctors determined that Reynolds had sustained injuries that did not match the information given to detectives.
