The City of Kelowna has provided details about the hacking of airport systems on Tuesday.
The hacking, which involved the hijacking of the terminal's flight information screens and PA system, was stopped "within a matter of minutes."
All affected systems were isolated and verified before being restored late last night.
A threat assessment was carried out by the RCMP and Transport Canada, and the hacker's "messaging" was not deemed a direct threat to the public.
The hacker's messaging included anti-Israel, pro-Hamas, and jihadist sentiment.
