The British actor, currently starring in Netflix's House of Guinness, has been "tapped" to play Brian Epstein in Sam Mendes' four feature-length films about the band, according to Deadline.
James Norton shared the reports on his personal Instagram account with the caption: "Brian" and a heart emoji.
The news follows the confirmation of Saoirse Ronan's involvement in the project, who will play the role of Linda McCartney, as reported by Variety.
Representatives for Sony declined to comment on the reports.
