Kap's Café Shooting: Third Incident in Three Months
The Surrey café owned by Bollywood star Kapil Sharma was targeted by shooters for the third time in just over three months.
The previous two shootings at Kap's Café have been linked to extortion. The café, located in the 8400-block of 120 Street in Newton, was shot at just before 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to Surrey police.
Officers found several bullet holes in the building's facade. Employees were on the premises at the time of the shooting, similar to the previous two incidents.
"It is the third regrettable incident at this location,"
confirmed Surrey Police Service spokesman Ian MacDonald.
