WWE Releases Multiple Superstars
Former NXT North American Champion and Tag Team Champion Wes Lee has been released by WWE, along with several other superstars.
Other publicly announced departures from NXT include Stevie Turner, Jamar Hampton, Drako Knox, and Lance Anoa’i.

Lee’s reign as NXT North American Champion from October 2022 to July 2023 is the second longest in the title’s history.
Lee also held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice as part of MSK in 2021 and 2022, and was the leader of High Ryze.
