OCI Global and VICTROL Partner for Clean Ammonia Bunkering
OCI Global and VICTROL have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a refrigerated clean ammonia bunkering supply chain in the Netherlands and Belgium.
This collaboration aims to accelerate the decarbonization of the maritime industry by creating a safe, scalable, and commercially viable supply chain for clean ammonia bunkering.
- OCI Ammonia Distribution B.V. will source and import clean ammonia from global production hubs in the U.S., Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.
- The clean ammonia will be transported to the OCI Terminal Europoort (OTE) in the Port of Rotterdam for storage, distribution, and use as marine fuel.
The partnership marks an important step in decarbonizing the maritime industry.
OCI is building partnerships with shipowners and end-users to adopt ammonia as a clean fuel for their fleets.
