During the government shutdown, some parkgoers are engaging in unpermitted activities, according to visitors, workers, and advocates.
A visitor to Yosemite National Park, Sean Jennings, was surprised by the large number of people in the park, saying
“There were people everywhere”during his weekday visit.
Jennings had planned a trip to the park with his daughter, Sugar, and had reserved a night's stay at Porcupine Flats campground near Tioga Pass.
