The Ottawa Senators began their first back-to-back of the 2025-26 season with a loss to the Buffalo Sabres, but quickly rebounded with a win against the Seattle Kraken.
After a brutal 8-4 loss to the Sabres, the Senators returned home to face the Kraken, seeking to build on last season's series sweep. They earned a much-needed comeback win, defeating the Kraken 4-3 in a shootout at Canadian Tire Centre.
The win improved the Senators' record to 2-3-0 on the season, snapping their three-game losing streak. The Kraken's Shane Wright scored 4:57 into the game, marking the fifth consecutive game the Senators trailed to start.
The Senators' comeback was fueled by the efforts of Pinto and Cozens, who helped the team rally for the win.
