Neville Gafa Filmed Removing Caruana Galizia Tributes
Government employee Neville Gafa has been filmed removing flowers and tributes to Daphne Caruana Galizia at the Great Siege Monument in Valletta.
The wreaths were placed during a vigil commemorating eight years since the journalist was assassinated.
In a video, Gafa can be seen making several trips to and from the monument, carrying wreaths, flowers and candles away, which were later discovered in nearby dustbins.
- The wreaths included some placed by embassies of European countries.
- The Dutch, German and Irish embassies issued statements condemning Gafa’s actions.
