Djokovic defeated Zizou Bergs 6-3, 7-5, securing his 80th Masters semi-final appearance in one hour and 50 minutes, becoming the oldest semi-finalist at an ATP 1000 event at 38 years and 140 days.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion aims for his second title of the season, following his Geneva Open title in May.
