Man Accused of $300k Court Sprinkler Damage
A man is set to appear in court at the end of October, accused of causing $300,000 in damage to the sprinkler system at the Kern County Superior Court building.
The incident led to significant flooding in nearby offices and courtrooms last month, according to the Kern County District Attorney.
The man, identified as Chuck Dooley, has faced multiple arrests, including alleged violations of Health and Safety Code Section 11395 and several felony vandalism charges, said District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer.
