Gujarat Council of Ministers Reshuffle
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel has reshuffled the Council of Ministers, with 25 MLAs taking oath as ministers.
A day after the entire Cabinet, except the Chief Minister, resigned, the swearing-in ceremony took place at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
- Harsh Sanghavi, Majura MLA, was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister.
- 24 others took oath as ministers in the CM Bhupendra Patel-led government.
- Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath to the 25 ministers.
Deputy Chief Minister Sanghavi earlier held the portfolio of Minister of State (MoS) for Home and is a three-time member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, representing the Majura Assembly constituency.
