Pedestrian Killed in Crosswalk Collision with Motorcycle

A pedestrian collision in Santa Maria resulted in major and fatal injuries to two men on Saturday night.

On October 18th, at approximately 8:35pm, emergency responders were called to the intersection of Broadway and Williams Street, where a 25-year-old male pedestrian and a 32-year-old male motorcyclist were found with significant injuries.

The pedestrian was crossing eastbound in the north crosswalk of Williams Street when he was struck by the motorcyclist traveling northbound on Broadway.

Both were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center, where the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries, and the motorcyclist received treatment for serious injuries.
