The Mindful Minute by Jon Heydenreich: Food, food, food
Our church is hosting a food collection, with a potential matching grant of $500 from Thrivent, an investment and insurance business supporting community service.
We are a small church, so this is a significant opportunity for us. We invite readers to participate in our effort. Donations and monetary gifts are welcome and will be used to purchase food.
Donations can be left at the side doors of Trinity Lutheran! church, located at 161 Western Avenue (Route 9) in Brattleboro. The collected food and potential matching funds will be donated to Groundworks, a local shelter.
The deadline for this collection is October 28.
There is much goodness in folks.
