REDWEST Country Music Festival Evacuated Due to Severe Weather
The second day of the REDWEST Country Music Festival, featuring Post Malone, was evacuated and eventually canceled due to severe weather.
Thank you for your patience with evacuations. We are working closely with meteorologists to keep all of our attendees safe. We’re expecting lightning in the area.
Festival officials urged attendees to move away from the stage, evacuate, and seek shelter. Post Malone was scheduled to take the stage at 9:30 p.m.
Many festivalgoers took cover in their vehicles, nearby buses, and even a local fire station as they waited for further instructions.
Me and my friends were front row to Ty Myers. And right in the middle of their show, they pulled the cords and just said everybody had to evacuate.
