Mass Shooting at South Carolina Bar
A shooting at a crowded bar on St. Helena Island in South Carolina resulted in the deaths of 4 people and injured at least 20 more.
Hundreds of people were at Willie’s Bar and Grill when the shooting occurred. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on October 12, 2025.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple reports of a shooting that occurred at Willie’s Bar and Grill, 7 Dr. Upon arriving at the scene deputies made contact with a large crowd of people, several of which were suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the mass shooting, during which multiple victims and witnesses ran to nearby businesses and properties seeking shelter from the gunshots.
