RAMALLAH, October 25, 2025 (WAFA) - For the second consecutive week, Israeli forces have prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands to harvest olives in the town of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that Israeli troops continue to close the iron gate, which leads to citizens' lands, preventing farmers from accessing them. An elderly man, Fahd Abu al-Hajj, was detained following a verbal altercation with soldiers.
Last week, occupation forces prevented Palestinians from accessing their lands in Kobar and fired live ammunition towards them. Olive pickers have witnessed an unprecedented escalation in attacks by colonists and occupation soldiers, who prevent them from harvesting olives and accessing their lands in several areas.
These forces also detained elderly Fahd Abu al-Hajj following a verbal altercation between him and soldiers.
