ADC Inaugurates Interim Leadership in Adamawa
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State has inaugurated a caretaker executive committee to manage the party's affairs until a new leadership is elected.
Presiding over the inauguration, North East Zonal Vice Chairman of the ADC, David Lawal Babachir, stated that stakeholders agreed to form the interim team to stabilize the party and prepare it for the 2027 general elections.
"The leadership you see today is legitimate because it followed due process in line with the party's constitution,"
Babachir, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) during Muhammadu Buhari's administration, explained that the new structure was approved by the National Working Committee (NWC) after consultation and compliance with the party's constitution.
