NHS Trusts to be Measured on Electronic Services Adoption
NHS trusts will be evaluated based on their adoption of electronic services and NHS App integration, as per new guidance from NHS England.

- Deploying the Electronic Referral Service APIs
- Consolidating NHS.Net Connect into the national collaboration service
- Integrating all existing NHS App capabilities
Additionally, providers must prioritize adopting NHS App capabilities, making at least 95% of appointments available via the NHS App across all care settings from April 2026.
The guidance also aims to increase the percentage of people with a cancer diagnosis receiving their first treatment within two months of referral to 85%, up from 70% currently.
