Driver Rescued From Serious Weekend Rollover Accident in Putnam County
Emergency personnel responded quickly and efficiently to a rollover accident in Putnam County, preventing a more drastic outcome.
The accident occurred on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at around 3:00 p.m. on Croton Falls Rd and McLaughlin Dr. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll down a hillside, leaving them injured and trapped.
According to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD), emergency services, including the Carmel Police Department and NY and Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corp, arrived at the scene by approximately 3:18 p.m. The MVFD worked in conjunction with these services to respond to the incident.
