Scotland Secures Win Against Belarus with McTominay's Goal
Scott McTominay proved to be Scotland's hero once again, scoring the team's second goal in a World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
Che Adams initiated the scoring with a goal in the 14th minute, striking with his left foot just inside the box. The match then became a tense affair, with Scotland needing a win as they compete with Denmark for automatic World Cup 2026 qualification.
McTominay, formerly of Manchester United and now with Napoli, sealed the win with a left-footed finish in the 84th minute, assisted by Andy Robertson's neat work. However, Belarus made the final minutes intense with Gleb Kochuk's goal in the 96th minute.
