Market Street Landing Gateway Arch Complete in Ottumwa
The Market Street Landing Gateway Arch in Ottumwa, Iowa, is now complete after nearly five months of construction.
This project is the first of a series of planned improvements to the city's riverfront area.
- The arch is built from steel trusses used in Ottumwa's historic Armory Coliseum.
- Iowa artist Hilde DeBruyne created the artwork on the arch's pillars, representing Ottumwa's history.
