Bulgaria's utilities regulator has approved a 7.9% increase in the regulated gas price for November, setting it at 65.82 leva/MWh or 33.65 euro/MWh, excluding transportation costs, excise, and value-added tax.
Despite being the fourth increase in as many months, the new price is lower than the one recorded in November 2024, which was 68.69 leva/MWh.
The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) stated that most of the domestic consumption for November will be covered by gas from the long-term contract with Azerbaijan.
The price set by the EWRC for November is lower than the one recorded the same month of 2024.
