PIAA Girls Tennis Championships
Players from the Lackawanna League start their medal quests at the PIAA Singles and Doubles Tennis Championships.
Montrose junior Cara Evans and Abington Heights senior Sona Hanumali compete in Class 2A and Class 3A singles.
- Scranton Prep doubles team: Lily Lengyel and Emma Cuck (Class 2A)
- Abington Heights doubles team: Amishi Amit and Sammy Rosenstein (Class 3A)
Hanumali faces West Chester Henderson freshman Erika Dunwoody at 8 a.m.
Hanumali is the District 2 Class 3A champion, Dunwoody was the District 1 tournament runner-up.
