Disappointment Over Lack of Funding for Catering on Irish Rail Routes
Senator Mark Duffy has expressed "extreme frustration" over the lack of funding for catering on Irish Rail routes in the west of the country.

The issue of catering returning to Irish Rail routes continues, with no funding guaranteed for the service to be re-introduced on Inter-City routes. Irish Rail confirmed to Midwest Radio that funding has not been secured for the tea trolley to return on routes from Ballina or Sligo to Dublin.
