A police helicopter assisted officers in tracing a missing man in Nantwich during the night.
Residents reported hearing the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter flying above Nantwich and Stapeley for around 30 minutes at midnight.
The missing man from Wistaston was found after a two-hour search.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 10.36pm on Thursday 30 October, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man who was reported missing from the Wistaston area. Officers, with help from NPAS, located the man at around 12.40am on Friday 31 October in the Nantwich area.”
