The Rochester Arts and Crafts Festival is being held at the Empire Events Center, featuring the work of emerging Minnesota artists.
On October 11 and 12, from 10 a.m., attendees can browse various booths and purchase new arts and trinkets for their homes or get a head start on holiday shopping.
Karen Wedul, also known as Scattered Sunshine, gives new life to silver plates found in antique stores by adding mosaic designs.
Organizers plan to bring the festival back next year, possibly as a Christmas show.
