techUK has published its submission to HM Treasury for the Autumn 2025 Budget. A members-only webinar will be held on November 28, featuring expert analysis of the Budget and its implications for the tech sector and economy.
In the submission, developed with member collaboration, techUK emphasizes the tech sector's importance to the government's growth mission. The digital economy is estimated to represent around 13% of the total economy, adding £286 billion in annual GVA and employing over 2.9 million people.
The current government has made concrete plans to grow the economy and tech ecosystem, including the UK-US Tech Prosperity Deal, Industrial Strategy, and public sector digitization plans.
